What it does

Your file comes back byte for byte. Line endings, tabs, trailing spaces and the missing final newline all survive a save — no reformatting, no metadata, no sidecar files, no internet permission.

What it can reach

This is the whole list. Android prints the same thing under Settings › Apps › Permissions once the app is on your phone, and it was not written by us — check one against the other.

All files access	So your notes can live in the folder you already keep them in, not in a private corner of the app
Internet	Absent. The permission does not exist in this app

Against the apps it replaces

Obsidian and iA Writer are built around a paid sync; Markor is close in spirit but carries more than this needs. Here the notebook is a folder of .md files and nothing else
The preview renders the same buffer you are typing in — no export step to see the result
All-files access is the one permission, because a notebook lives where you put it, not where an app says
